Day to Day 2023

Last updated 13/10/24

This is new section where I am going to post some of the regular day-to-day photos that I take.
Fri 11th August - a few sunset photos.
Thursday 10th August - a few sunset photos.
Tuesday 1st August - a fox enjoying some peace in our back garden before the dogs were out.  Shot though the window.
Wednesday 19th July - another sunset, and yes there is nearly always a plane heading towards Heathrow, London City or Biggin Hill in every one of my sunet photos.
Monday 17th July - sunset.
Tuesday 11th July - I think it was using the old slipway for the Short Brothers flying boats as shelter from the really strong wind.
Monday 3rd July - testing the RF 100-500 I had loaned for the last week of term.  What an amazing lens, if anyone wants to buy one for me ....  Most of these photos were taken after sunset and yet the camera and lens were still able to focus on the fast moving birds.  You can even just see the insect that the gull was about to catch in the 6th photo.
Saturday 17th June - a moth in the play room and yet another sunset.
Monday 12th June - the first time I had managed to photograph a Little Egret on the River Medway on my walk home from work.
Sunday 11th June - late afternoon.
Sunday 11th June - woodland walk.
Saturday 10th June - another woodland walk, including am entertaining 20 minutes or so stalking a fox cab and the amazing surprise of seeing a deer.
Sunday 4th June - woodland walk.
Monday 29th May - woodland walk.
Sunday 21st May - regular Sunday walk around the local woods in the Nashenden valley.
Monday 8th May (Coronation Bank Holiday) - another woodland walk before the bluebells fade for another year, plus the coastguard helicopter flying very low up and down the river.
Sunday 30th April - another walk around Nashenden Woods.
Tuesday 25th April - evening trip down to Broadstairs to give the dogs a swim and a run around the beach.  It was one of those rare days where you could see France from The Parade.
Saturday 22nd April - walk around the Nashenden woods near home.  The bluebells are coming out but we're probably still a few days away from the peak display.
